Acer Aspire One D270 Battery Not Charging

I have an aspire one netbook.

Acer aspire one d270 battery not charging. Replaced the power board and does the same thing. Acer aspire one d270 mati total dead matot duration. Will not detect the battery. I saw that it was showing plugged in not charging so i googled and tried the sollution for it uninstalling the battery driver shut down remove battery press and hold power button for 1 minute insert the battery connect the power cord reboot the pc.

Try to turn it on with battery in and the amber light blinks 8 times. The original battery lasted several years then failed to charge. I have an acer aspire one ao756 2840 v2 21. I m not sure if the problem is the battery or the ac adaptor itself.

It is either a motherboard problem bios problem. For 2 days now i m having a problem when it comes to charging my laptop. Ac and no battery my acer aspire 4720z boots fine but when i put the battery in it dies after three seconds and the screen flashes bright to dim a couple times before it shuts off. Battery not charging on acer aspire one.

When rebooted i saw that the charging led was lit or 1 or 2 second may be. I bought 2 new ac adapters and 2 new batteries and can t get the battery to charge bottom line is it has nothing to do with either the charger or battery. I wanted to check out my wireless broadband. Well i finally took this one off line power to do some tests in preparation for traveling with this.

I m not sure if the problem is the battery or the ac adaptor itself. After about 6 months it too failed to charge. Toggle menu acer community. Got new battery and does the same thing.

Acer aspire one d270 288bb charging problem. Go to device manager expand batteries right click microsoft acpi compliant control method battery select properties and uninstall the driver in driver tab reboot and let windows install the driver then fully charge the battery before start using it let it charge for a longer period. Computer shuts off when you disconnect the power adapter. I replaced the original battery with an aftermarket extra capacity battery.
